Why approval before action matters

Contractors, service businesses, and manufacturers make dozens of small decisions a day that touch a customer, a price, a schedule, or the books. Each one carries your name and your reputation. Exactly which actions require your sign-off

The line is simple: anything that leaves your business or changes a record of value waits for a person. In practice that means:

• Customer messages — every email, text, or reply that goes to a client is drafted and held for approval, so nothing off-tone or inaccurate ever carries your name.
• Pricing and proposal terms — estimates and quotes are prepared from your rules, but the final price and terms are yours to confirm before they are sent.
• Invoices and payment reminders — invoice drafts are built with line items, quantities, totals, and terms, and stay drafts until you release them.
